Throughout the first half of the 20th century, Broadway served as Los Angeles' most important commercial center as well as its premier theater district. Today, its economic importance still remains due in part to the Latino immigrant population residing in the surrounding neighborhoods. As the city attempts to Bring Back Broadway, this on-going project documents the street's individuals and daily life scenes.
